How do we remove bats from your home & attic?
Like many other wildlife home-invading species, the key is in locating their entry points & installing 1 way bat tubes, which allow bats to safely exit your home without being able to return. Other areas where they can enter must be tightly sealed as well, or they’ll find their way back in. Like mice, they have very small bodies that can fit through the tiniest spaces. After the bats have been excluded, we recommend removing insulation that has been contaminated by bat guano & properly disinfecting their resting sites. This process can only be performed in very specific time windows in the Spring and late Summer when no pups (young bats) are present. Otherwise, the pups will get stuck inside & perish. Although they carry some dangerous viruses, bats are a very important part of our ecosystem. They’re an endangered species & it’s very important to protect them & get them removed safely.
